Hi, I'm Gill!
Why am I creating a website full of resources for future and learner drivers, plus gift ideas for everyone who enjoys driving and cars?
- I've always enjoyed being creative and I have so many projects I want to work on :) I didn't have anything in the exhibition in the photo - my son had contributed the sketchbook I'm holding, and one day we'll visit an exhibition to see something I've created!
- I'm an experienced Driving Instructor :) Which means I get to support learners to develop their driving skills and to gain essential driving experience, to enable them to pass their driving test and start enjoying the freedom of the open road!
- I have a head full of knowledge and ideas for supporting learner drivers :) Including a range of theory resources I'm currently part-way through creating, to help fill the gap between the official DVSA books and the Q&A apps that are currently available!

Creativity - with a twist!
So how will this website help me with my creative ambitions? In so many ways - including in finding creative solutions to challenges I didn't expect when I started!
- To start: I get to create lots and lots of unique designs - currently for t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, and in the future for lots of other things too. Most will be driving related - but over time I'm sure the collections will develop in lots of new directions!
- Next: I have a reason to focus on completing the first of the driving theory resources for learner drivers that have been on my to-do list for way too long - so I can add to and improve on the limited range of resources that are currently available for learners as they prepare for their driving theory test!
- Twist: at home I recycle and I try to be eco-friendly - but I love driving and can't imagine giving up my car, AND I don't want avaCARgo to add to the current over-production of clothing and plastic pollution crisis, so I'll be exploring creative ways to find a balance and I'll share my thoughts and ideas via Facebook, Instagram and the blog!
